POTS lines, T1, Frame Relay

Depending on the type of business and access requirements, a variety of access solutions are available, ranging from “Plain Old Telephone Service” (POTS) lines, to dedicated T1 circuits and Frame Relay services. CICAT Networks can out-source provisioning and management of virtually any access service or technology, or provide a mix of services based on your specific requirements.

Many CICAT customers still rely on POTS lines for access to local or long distance calling, dial-up internet services or point of sale applications. In many cases, CICAT provisions these access services for use with alarm systems for remote monitoring or as a dial back-up or fail over solution for broadband.

For larger volumes of business data or higher speed application requirements, CICAT can provision more advanced services. For branch offices, call centers, or larger retail locations, CICAT routinely coordinates the provisioning of six to ten phone lines, advanced calling features such as call waiting and caller-id, and high speed (T1) internet access.
